My career has taken me from sales in London to manufacturing and the arts in Sheffield, before finding my true vocation in teaching. I spent 30 years working in schools across Sheffield, Derbyshire and Rotherham, finishing my final Headship in 2025.

Leadership can be isolating, and I’ve lived that reality. In 2016, the pressure became overwhelming and I took four months away from work. That time changed me. It taught me to notice early signs of strain, to protect space for reflection, and to support others with a steadier, more compassionate approach.

During my final Headship, I discovered the impact of coaching and went on to qualify as a Level 7 Executive Coach with the British School of Coaching. The work I do now is shaped by everything I’ve learned — offering leaders a quiet, focused space to pause, think deeply and reconnect with what matters. It’s work I value hugely, and it is a genuine privilege to walk alongside clients as they slow down, pay attention and find their best way forward.
